There are no complete studies that have shown that there is a negative effect on an unborn child or an infant, but this is still dangerous as the toxicity, even at minute scales, can be transferred to the baby through the milk or the umbilical cord. Rosea Rhodiola can also contraindicate with other drugs that an expectant mother may be taking as prescribed by her doctor.

In most of these cases, the danger comes from taking high dosages. It is not advisable for anyone to drastically increase their Rosea Rhodiola intake. It is better to gradually increase this as per the recommendation of your doctor or herbalist.
