Why do we swath or warp our babies in cloths and blankets? Psychologists say that anything soft touching their skin will make our babies feel cozy and comfortable. They like to feel something soft during napping time.
Aside from removing your sleepiness, a 20 minute nap can increase your stamina, alertness, motor learning, and performance. From first hand experience, it also improved my long term memory. The benefits of napping are endless!

Naps in the office? I think that napping, like almost everything else in life, can add immeasurably to our happiness, as long as it is optional. Not everyone can nap at the drop of a hat, and it changes with our time of life, our health, and our state of mind. But an employer that makes that optional nap-time available to those who want it, like some Chinese employers do, is making a good investment.
On being in a hammock: In a small hammock you have no choice to but to lie straight with your back raised and your arms cocooned; this is comfortable and great for napping and reading a book, but it shouldn’t be your only option. With enough size, the right hammock will also allow you to lie sideways (you can swing!) or at an angle to enjoy a flatter position more like how you sleep in your bed.
Just like most American deserve to get a raise, it appears that a bit more sleep is needed to… A survey by the National Sleep Foundation has found that 30% of participants have admitted to sleeping while on duty. More than 90% of Americans have experienced a problem at work because of a poor night’s sleep. One in four admit to shirking duties on the job for the same reason, either calling in sick or napping during work hours.
