Today, let’s take a look at Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 pure castile soap. This is one of those products that once I started using, I was like, why have I not been using this forever? I had heard about castile soap, castile really just means it’s made from 100% vegetable oil, or some kind of plant oil.

What I love about this product is I started using it in small doses, like okay, let me give this a try, then I started using it as a hand soap. I had read a lot and done a lot of research on antibacterial soaps and how they’re actually not good for you to use on your hands.

I thought I’d try it out as a hand soap, and it rinses off really easily. What I like about that, too, is that I can send my kids in the bathroom and let them use this soap as a hand soap and I know they’re rinsing it off their hands and it’s coming off and they’re not leaving residue and chemicals on their hands.

After I started liking it as a hand soap, I decided, it’s 18-in-1, they say it can be used for everything, let me try it in some other area of my house. So I started using it as a laundry detergent. I thought, there’s no way I’m going to give up my standard laundry soap that I’ve been using for years, it’s not going to work as well and let me tell you, it does! I started using it in my kitchen as a degreaser.

Since I use this in literally every area of my house, I go ahead and I buy the gallon size but it does come in plenty of other sizes.
